Head Lad
Michael Jordan our head lad has been with us for the past six years and his sheer love for horses means the only problem we have is getting him to go home!!! Mick spent his earlier years working for Nicky Henderson and we are blest to have such a kind and experienced person running our yard. Thanks Mick.
Jockeys
Shane Jackson, Donal MacAulay, and Owen Mc Carthy all ride out with us part time. Declan Bates is one of our newest members of staff. Declan is here as a conditional Jockey and we hope he will have great success in his chosen career. Each one of them brings their experiences from the racecourse to the yard.
Head Travelling Lad
David Porter has been with us for going on ten years and although in his earlier years he rode quite a few winners as an amateur jockey, he now ensures that our horses get to the races safely. David also rides out and is a dab hand with the more difficult mounts.
Head Travelling Girl
Roseanna Lawlor makes sure our horses are looking their best as well as travelling with our horses to the races.
Yard Staff
Michael and John make sure to keep the yard looking spic and span.
Other members of staff include Kara Lawson who assists Mick with daily duties, Ivan Sabol, Noel Norris, Thomas Dowling, Charlotte Best and last but definitely not least Jimmy Winterbotham, and well what can I say the yard just wouldn’t be the same without you Jimmy!!!
