Grade 2 Success
We had a great day yesterday with Tally Em Up landing The Bemish Stout Phil Sweeney Memorial Steeplechase (Grade 3).
We were thrilled to finally put some black type behind this very consistent mare having only finished out of the placings 5 times in her career it was a well-deserved victory for all concerned.
Tally Em Up is jointly owned by Leigh Murphy and Niamh Deegan and it goes without saying there will be plenty of celebrations in the Wexford area this week!!! Hopefully there will plenty more to celebrate over the coming months.
We had another great winner in our local Point to Point on Sunday with Rathlin winning in great style hopefully the start of a prosperous career for this 5-year-old, congratulations to all concerned.
Finally yet importantly, Barneys Honour was very close to landing us a double in Thurlus yesterday finishing second behind Springmount. I hope that we will see him rise to the occasion on his next outing.
It might be worth mentioning that we have a great line up in Naas today. Smack That runs at 3.05 and is certainly a good each way prospect. Got the Urge is sure to put up a good performance being rarely out of the placings maybe today will be his day. Current Recession is also not without chances today in the 4.05 National Hunt Bumper.
Finally we would like to take this opportunity to Thank everyone who have supported us over the past 12 months and wish you all a Very Happy New Year.
