Happy Monday to one & all. After the weekend thankfully both our horses appear fine this morning. Current Resession was unfortunate to lose a shoe while racing in Gowran Park on Saturday and did very well to stay on to finish 6th. He was lame after the race but is well on the road to recovery & it is hoped that he will run in a fortnights time in Navan. Ballyburke finished 3rd in Navan in a Grade 2 Novice Hurdle behind Fully Funded yesterday. This was his first time out with this calibre of company & we felt he did very well. He will have gained valuable experience from this run. He resumed training this morning & a Maiden Hurdle over Christmas is the plan for him. He is definitely a horse to keep a close eye on for the future. Most of our mid week runners appear to be liable for balloting so it looks like it will be a quiet week for us racing wise.
