Well after what was a very quiet start to December race wise, we are very thankful that racing has finally resumed. We had a good start back yesterday with both Mangerhanagement and Luddsdenene finishing 2nd in Limerick. Barneys Honour ran a great race to finish 4th in Leopardstown. It was great to see the horses run so well after the appalling weather conditions had our horses lacking somewhat in work, hopefully over the coming weeks there will be much improvement seen within our string.
We had a great start to today when The Three Monkeys saw off Coolharbour Breeze to claim a 3 Length advantage at the finishing line under the mount of Shane Jackson. We were thrilled with her progress as we only have this mare a short time, hopefully she will continue to improve. Ard agus Fada also ran today and finish in a respectful 3rd place, he should improve for this run so definitely one to watch. We were also happy with both Glenbane Gent and Paddy O Dee finishing 5th and 6th again there should be improvement in form over the coming weeks.
Celtic Carol will run again tomorrow and we are hoping to see improvement on her previous run. Mayo Mistique and Mission Possible also run in Tramore tomorrow and we would hope to see both of them in the shake up. It is our first run with Kalmez but we would like to see a drastic improvement on his previous form.
We are delighted to see our horses back to good form hopefully we can carry this form with us into the New Year and throughout 2011.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Happy, Peaceful and Healthy New Year. Best Wishes from all of us here at Fairwood Stables.
