Well we had quite a good weekend last weekend, Luddsdenene ran a stormer to win the Maiden Hurdle in Punchestown on Saturday by 4 1/2 lengths to Lord Rory. Barneys Honour was 2nd in the Handicap Hurdle behind Turner Brown. Ballyburke ran well to finish 2nd in the Maiden Hurdle in Leopardstown on Sunday behind The Bull Hayes.
Yesterday, we had a disappointing day in Thurles, where our horses Jacks Island & Mission Possible both fell early on in the Beginners Steeplechase. This is very uncharacteristic for both horses & thankfully both are fine today & no worse for the tumble.
Hopefully we'll have a better weekend, although it is not definite if either Ballyburke or Jak Dream will run tomorrow in Naas. Tally Em Up is our only starter in Fairyhouse on Sunday. She is taking part in the Steeplechase. She is a total outsider in this race but is in good form and it would be nice to think that she could finish in the first 3 & get home safely.
We are looking forward to having some nice runners for Thyestes day in Gowran next Thursday.
