It is another beautiful afternoon here at Fairwood Stables, the sky is blue, the birds are singing and the horses are in great form. We most definitely have no Monday Blues, due to the fantastic weather but also, and more imprtantly, due to Ard agus Fada's brave steeplechase win at Navan on Saturday. We were delighted with his performance. His jumping was great and he finished strong to win out of a field of 17 horses. Also, Grovedale ran a cracking race over hurdles at Navan on Saturday to finish fourth. The horses are in really good form now and long may it continue. Looking ahead, we will have three, or possibly four runners at Cork this coming Thursday and hopefully all horses will run well. We will also be in attendance at Gowran on Saturday with a number of runners and, Limerick on Sunday. And, looking further ahead, we are really looking forward to Divine Rhapsody starting over hurdles at Punchestown in May. He is full of potential and hopefully he will meet this new challenge with the same great attitude that he has maintained up to now!!
